Day One

  • Welcome, Overview of safety at Explosive Research Laboratory (ERL), Explosive 101
  • High Speed applications
  • Introduction to High Speed Imaging
  • Lenses and Optics in High-Speed Video
  • Illumination and Lighting Considerations
  • Triggering, Synchronization, and Data Management

Day Two

  • Introduction to Phantom Camera Control (PCC) Software
  • Hand-On Exercises
  • Introduction to High-Speed Motion Analysis Software
Important

Personal protective equipment (PPE) is REQUIRED for all participants on Day 3.

Steel or composite toe shoes/boots are required in order to participate in the practical training at the Explosive Research Laboratory (ERL) at Idaho Springs. Participants must supply their own shoes/boots.

Day Three

  • Practical Training at our Explosive Research Laboratory (ERL) at Idaho Springs, CO
  • Practical Exercise: Group test result analyses using motion analysis software

Day Four

  • Practical Exercise: Group test result analyses using motion analysis software
  • Group Presentations
