Funds realized from this course will directly support tunneling education and research at Colorado School of Mines, primarily through student scholarships. With sponsor support, we can help grow the industry by allowing applied research and student training to flourish. Course sponsorship also helps to defray the cost of delivering the course and provides support of the tunneling program. Specifically, sponsorship helps to pay for refreshments, receptions and meals, hands-on labs and demonstrations, and course materials. It also provides support to the students involved in organizing and delivering the course.

Sponsorship opportunities for Tunneling Fundamentals, Practice, and Innovations are available at several levels. Information about course sponsors, such as logos and descriptions, can be included and displayed on the course website, in printed material, at specific parts of the course program, and as part of materials received by each attendee.

To establish a sponsorship, please visit the website at: For more information about course sponsorships, please send an email to Dr. Mike Mooney,, at any time.
